CLAT Registration 2025-The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the CLAT 2025 Application Form on July 15, 2024, at 12 noon. The registration fee for CLAT 2025 is Rs. 4,000 for general category candidates and Rs. 3,500 for SC, ST, and BPL category candidates. CLAT 2025 Exam Eligibility Criteria [UG & PG]

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has established specific criteria for candidates applying for the CLAT entrance exam. Below are the eligibility requirements for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs:

CLAT 2025 Eligibility for UG Program

To apply for undergraduate law courses, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit.
  • Educational Qualification:
    • General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories: Must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with at least 45% marks.
    • SC/ST category: Must have scored at least 40% marks.
  • Students Appearing for 10+2 Examination: Those appearing in the 10+2 examination in March/April 2025 are also eligible to apply.

CLAT 2025 Eligibility for PG Program

For candidates aspiring to secure admission in postgraduate law courses (Master of Law), the eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit.
  • Educational Qualification:
    • General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories: Must have a minimum of 50% marks in the LLB degree or an equivalent grade.
    • SC/ST categories: Must have secured 45% marks in the LLB degree or an equivalent grade.
