ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (a deemed university) administers the IBS Aptitude Test or IBSAT, a national level entrance exam, to candidates for admission to MBA/PGPM programmes. Nine ICFAI Business Schools (IBS), including the IBS in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Dehradun, accept IBSAT scores. The two-hour IBSAT is a computer-based test (CBT) with multiple-choice questions. A computer-based exam called the IBSAT is often given over the course of two days in December. Before appearing for the final selection rounds, which include the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds, qualified candidates must first attend a selection briefing round.

For students seeking admission to the following programmes, The ICFAI Foundation For Higher Education (designated as a Deemed-to-be-University under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956) administers the IBSAT.IBS Hyderabad, IBS Dehradun, IBS Jaipur, and IBS Bangalore all provide a two-year full-time MBA programme (off campus of IFHE).
Full-time/part-time 4-year Ph. D. programme at IBS Hyderabad. Postgraduate Program in Management (PGPM) in full time for two years at five IBS campuses: Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.
