The Xavier Labor Relation Institute (XLRI) in Jamshedpur administers the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), a national-level MBA entrance exam, on behalf of the Xavier Alliance of Management Institutions (XAMI). Over the past 70 years, XLRI has conducted the XAT at the national level in India to choose the best candidates for its management programmes. XAT is one of the most difficult entrance exams, and scores from it are acceptable for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes given by 11 XAMI member institutes, 83 associate institutes, and more than 600 additional B-schools.
Several students want to enrol in management courses at XLRI. One of the leading B-schools, XLRI recently added a number of executive and certificate programmes to better serve the needs of the business community. Exec-FPM, BM (Part-time Programmes for Working Executives), PGDM HRM, and PGDM BM (Full-Time Residential Programmes) are just a handful of the courses that XLRI offers.
The brightest minds in the nation strive to enrol in the programmes provided by XLRI and associated institutions. Every year, more than 90,000 candidates take the exam.
