The Xavier Aptitude Test, also known as the XAT, is an annual management entrance exam for admission to XLRI Jamshedpur’s PGDM programmes. For MBA admission, over 1,000 Indian business schools also accept the XAT exam score. On January 7, 2024, the XAT will take place. Beginning on July 15, 2023, you can register online.
At various testing locations in more than 70 cities around India, the XAT 2024 exam will be administered in computer-based test format. Questions from Decision Making, Verbal & Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge will all be included in the XAT question paper. A 10-minute essay writing task will also be included. The XAT exam has a 210 minute time limit for each component. Read more about the XAT 2024 exam below.

XAT 2024 : Exam Pattern
A speed-based test is the XAT. The test is given online and has 105 questions that must be answered in 210 minutes. There is a subsection time limit for each of the three components of the question paper. See below for XLRI’s highlights of the XAT exam pattern for 2024:

XAT 2024 : Exam Syllabus
The XAT syllabus is comparable to those of other MBA entrance exams. Decision Making is the only section on the XAT that is distinct. Situations involving commercial decisions and ethical dilemmas are covered in this section of the XAT exam. Candidates must respond to questions based on their own interpretation of the circumstances. In addition to Decision Making, the XAT’s core subjects include Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Verbal & Logical Ability, and General Knowledge. XAT 2024 : Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the XAT eligibility requirements in order to take the exam. The XAT eligibility for 2024, as of last year, is as follows:
- Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited institution that took them three years or more to finish.
- Candidates who advanced to the final are also qualified to take the XAT exam.
- There is no minimal pass rate for the XAT exam.
- Students from NRI institutions may apply using the GMAT.
- Candidates are welcome to apply and take the test as long as they meet the XAT eligibility standards.
