IBPS PO Prelims Exam Syllabus- The IBPS PO Preliminary Exam is the first round of the IBPS PO 2023 Exam. Applicants who pass the preliminary exam will be entitled to take the mains exam. The IBPS PO Preliminary Test is divided into three sections:

IBPS PO Mains Syllabus 2023

The Prelims exam shortlist candidates will move on to the Mains stage. Below is further information about the IBPS PO Mains curriculum for 2023. On the objective test, candidates have three hours to tackle 155 questions. Each subject has a designated section of time. In addition, there is the Descriptive Test, which consists of two questions worth a total of 25 marks. This component has a time limit of 30 minutes. IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2023

There are three stages to the IBPS PO Exam: preliminary, main, and interviews. To pass on the exam, candidates must be aware with the IBPS PO exam pattern and thorough syllabus. Let’s look at the IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2023 section by section.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2023 For Prelims

The IBPS PO preliminary exam will be administered online, and candidates will have a total of one hour to complete it. It has a maximum score of 100 marks and is divided into 3 sections with a total of 100 questions. In the IBPS PO preliminary exam, there is negative marking, and candidates lose 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer they choose. To be eligible for the IBPS PO Main exam, candidates must achieve the cut-off in all three sections.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2023 For Mains

• Introduction of Descriptive Paper:  IBPS’s Mains Examination includes a Descriptive Paper that evaluates candidates’ writing skills. Candidates will be given an essay and a letter to write; each will be worth 25 marks, and both must be finished in 30 minutes.

• Each section’s total time allotment has also been altered.

• Computer Applications will not have a separate exam. Computer aptitude and reasoning are combined in a portion that has 45 questions and a total of 60 marks.

• Incorrect answers in the Objective Tests will result in a 0.25 mark deduction.

•In addition, the overall time allocated for the IBPS PO 2023 Mains Objective Test has been increased from 140 minutes to 180 minutes, plus an additional 30 minutes for the descriptive exam. IBPS PO Mains will take 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete.

•Sections A and B make up the examinations for data analysis and interpretation, English language proficiency, and reasoning ability and computer aptitude. A and B both include mandatory questions in both parts. Certain questions will carry two points, while others will only carry one.
